I’m a researcher at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University. My research explores how students make sense of digital systems such as the internet and computers—and what teachers can do to support and refine those ideas.

Research on teaching and learning core concepts of computer science, with a focus on lower secondary education.

Students’ Preconceptions

Investigation of students’ everyday ideas and understanding of digital technologies, especially the internet and computer systems.

Instructional materials

Design and evaluation of instructional materials for teaching about digital systems and technologies.
